"GOD has not called me to be successful. He called me to be Faithful… Never forget or neglect anyone because nobody knows what's coming tomorrow. You will know their value when you can't meet them once again in the lifetime." Mother Teresa "The more society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it…. If you loved someone, you loved him, and when you had nothing else to give, you still gave him love." George Orwell

My Royal Biscuit 7 Years Old

“We were just two broken souls trying to fix one another…Somehow I ended up with a piece of you and you me.”
 Evy Michaels

My royal biscuit was given to me by a private school on 27 April 2011.  The wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton took place on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London, United Kingdom.

Both, me and my VIP friend, spent the same day  watching the wedding on the TV.

And because my biscuit was broken, he decided to glue the broken pieces…Without the pieces there can be no whole and without the whole the pieces have no place.

Everyone has that moment I think, the moment when something so momentous happens that it rips your very being into small pieces. And then you have to stop. For a long time, you gather your pieces. And it takes such a very long time, not to fit them back together…

Sometimes I wonder if we ever truly let anyone completely in. The desire for another human being to know you, all of you, all the pieces, even the ones you’re ashamed of — is huge. But too often, we sit down and sort through the pieces only picking out the pretty ones, leaving the ugly ones behind, not realizing that choosing not to share with someone else…

If you (only you) read this, I would be happy to tell me how to glues both pieces again…so that ‘pieces’ are not the end of what was, but the beginning of what is to be.

Where Were You Last Night?

To You (only)

“Say something, please. Say anything”, you teased.
“You”, I said. “I remember you.” I kept my eyes shut, and felt his hands touching me.
“What do you remember about me?” “What do you love more?”, you asked “My hair or my heart?”

“Why do you give me only two choices? Don’t leave out your laugh, the way you cough and talk to me when you’re thinking, the feel of your breath on my face, the sound of your voice in the morning, the fan of your eyelashes, the caring spirit, the determined soul — so why stop at your hair and your heart? How do you expect me to choose? When what I love the most about you — is you.”

Before you came,
things were as they should be:
the sky was the dead-end of sight,
the road was just a road, wine merely wine.

Now everything is like my heart,
a color at the edge of blood:
the grey of your absence, the color of poison, of thorns,
the gold when we meet, the season ablaze,
the yellow of autumn, the red of flowers, of flames,
and the black when you cover the earth
with the coal of dead fires.

And the sky, the road, the glass of wine?
The sky is a shirt wet with tears,
the road a vein about to break,
and the glass of wine a mirror in which
the sky, the road, the world keep changing.

Don’t leave now that you’re here—
Stay. So the world may become like itself again:
so the sky may be the sky,
the road a road,
and the glass of wine not a mirror, just a glass of wine.
